Lessons and guides
We work with all the ski and snowboard schools in the valley, offering you the best selection of lessons to suit your needs. Techniques are constantly changing and the instructors are always updating their teaching techniques, so whether you're a beginner, intermediate or even if you think you're better than any instructor, it's always worth considering a lesson. All instructors are fully qualified, insured and offer an excellent level of service in a variety of programs. We are happy to give advice on where to get the best value for money for what you want and your level of competence and we'll also book your lessons for you directly with the schools.
A ski guide will help you make the most of Chamonix's famous off piste skiing and boarding. It's a fact that the endless miles of untouched powder are the main reason why many people revisit year after year and due to this, coupled with their experience for finding the best conditions, we always recommend using a qualified ski guide. The guides we work with are all IFMGA qualified, insured and have in depth knowledge of the valley, the weather systems and snow conditions. They will give you access to the best areas in the valley and areas which will suit your ability and offer you the level of thrill and adrenaline that your group desires! You don't have to be an excellent skier or boarder to enjoy the off-piste!
Group lessons
The group lessons are tailored to your standard, discipline and what you want to achieve - which gives maximum opportunity for improvement and is a good way to meet people of similar ability and share your experiences.
- ½ day (4 hours) - €60
- 4 x ½ days (am/pm) - €140
- 6 x ½ days (am/pm) - €185
Snowboarding classes, adults and juniors (ages 13 and older) are the same cost as skiing lessons.
Children's lessons
Children's lessons are for kids aged 3 to 12 and are organised separately, from mornings only to full days including lunch and tea. The courses are run by English speaking staff with an emphasis on making sure your children are happy and enjoying themselves, making it easier to integrate with other kids in the group. It's great to know that your kids are well looked after so you can enjoy your valuable time on the slopes - and they'll be having as much fun as you are! Just try to book early to ensure your child's place!

Private lessons
The lessons with a private instructor are ideal for those wishing to progress more rapidly than in standard group sessions as there is more focus on individuals. Another benefit is that you can also occasionally influence which ski area you'd want to use, making it easier to link up with friends and family.
- ½ day (4 hours) - €175 for 1 to 2 people and €199 for 3 to 6 people
- Full days (8 Hours) - €305 for 1 to 2 people and €335 for 3 to 6 people.
Ski guides
Ski guides are well worthwhile if you want to experience some of the best off piste and glacier snowriding Chamonix has to offer whilst in the hands of a mountain professional. Prices based on a group of up to six people.
