Getting to Vallorcine
Just one and a half hours from Geneva airport, Vallorcine is one of the easiest French mountain resorts to get to from the UK. With low cost airlines and special deals on ferry crossings, it is also one of the most affordable.
By plane
Geneva airport is just 1.5 hours away by road. Transfers are easily arranged with one of the valley's many shuttle services. They will, depending on the time of year, drop you in nearby Argentiere, from where we will collect you, or bring you right to the village. You may prefer to hire a car or take the train from the station at Geneva airport via Martigny or Chamonix to Vallorcine station.
By Car
Self drive from the UK is a cost effective way of travelling to Vallorcine, especially if you are travelling with children or perhaps even the dog! Approximately 8.5 hours from Calais, Vallorcine is easily accessible within the day. There are two ways to come through the mountains into the village, either via Chamonix or Martigny.
By train
Rail travel to St Gervais le Fayet is via Waterloo and Paris. It is then one change onto the Mont Blanc Express and a scenic ride of just over an hour to Vallorcine. An alternate route is through Switzerland to Martigny and a short but spectacular trip up to Vallorcine.
By coach
Travelling by coach is one of the best value ways of getting to Vallorcine. The journey takes just over 20 hours.
