Chamonix Valley

The Chamonix Valley consists of numerous pretty villages and hamlets along a 20km stretch, all with their own benefits and atmospheres and all within easy reach with fantastic transport links. Chamonix town lies in the epicentre of the Chamonix valley and is a lively, colourful town that doesn't simply operate as a holiday resort. Equally busy in the summer and winter, Chamonix is also full of life between the seasons. It's the real town atmosphere that sets Chamonix apart from many of the other quaint Alpine holiday retreats.

With unrivalled summer hiking and mountaineering and the deserved reputation as one of the best places in the world for skiing and snowboarding it is not hard to see why Chamonix receives so many visitors. Après Ski

Chamonix offers plenty to do away from the mountains, be it for non skiers, people who prefer to take it easy, families or, of course, the party animals! Après ski is not only for skiers and in Chamonix there is an abundance of Après ski activities with something to suit everyone. From spas to shopping, bowling to a casino, along with plentiful bars, good value restaurants and if you still have the energy, some great nightclubs too!
